As you enter the museum, you'll admire the impressive glass floor showcasing ruins of an ancient settlement buried below, gearing yourself up for the first gallery, where you'll get an insider's view of everyday life in ancient Athens.
Discover bygone wedding customs and ancient surgery practices as you gradually ascend to the next floor, where the exhibits will guide you through the riveting journey of the city's transition to democracy. Weaving around monsters, heroes, gods and iconic representations of the human body, you'll follow the evolution of ancient art.
Continuing to the third floor, you'll get straight into the heart of the Parthenon and see the narrative of the Panathenaic Procession, pieced together on the frieze of the temple. Engrossing tales from Greek Mythology depicted on the metopes and pediments of the temple, such as the birth of the goddess Athena and the battle of the Centaurs, will fire up your imagination.

- This is a combination of a pre-booked e-ticket for the Acropolis Museum and a downloadable self-guided audio tour for your smartphone. No live guide will accompany you
- An Android (version 9.0 and later) or iOS (version 17.0 and later) smartphone is required. The audio tour is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone X or older, iPhone SE 1st generation, iPod Touch, iPad 5th generation or older, iPad Air 2nd generation or older, iPad Mini 4th generation or older, or iPad Pro 12.9-inch 1st generation.
- Please consider that participants aged 0-18 and EU students can enter for free upon presentation of their ID or passport at the location. However, it's required for them to queue to receive their zero-value pass
- Non-EU students and participants over 65 years old are instead entitled to reduced tickets upon presentation of their ID or passport at the location. However, it's required for them to queue to receive their pass
- Please note that upon arrival at the Acropolis Museum, visitors go through a security check. To avoid delays, avoid carrying large bags and luggage
