Upon arrival in Cassis, you'll have the opportunity to explore the old fishing port, brimming with colourful boats. If your visit coincides with a Wednesday or Friday, you'll also get to experience the local market.
One of the highlights of your trip could be a one-hour cruise from Cassis. This optional excursion allows you to discover the calanques - limestone cliffs that plunge into the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, forming natural coves. These striking formations, reminiscent of Norwegian fjords, jut out into the sea, creating a truly spectacular sight (please note, the cruise ticket isn’t included). Your exploration of Cassis concludes with a leisurely drive back to Aix-en-Provence.

- You can visit the local market in Cassis on Wednesdays and Fridays
- You'll have free time for lunch at your own expense
- Please bear in mind that no refunds can be given if the Calanques cruise is cancelled due to poor weather conditions or if access to Cap Canaille via the Crest road is closed
