This guided day trip from Naples combines history, nature, and adventure with visits to the ancient ruins of Pompeii and the iconic Mount Vesuvius, a symbol of the Bay of Naples immortalized by countless artists over the centuries. An expert archaeologist leads a 2-hour tour of the archaeological excavations of Pompeii, followed by a traditional Italian lunch at a local restaurant.
The tour continues to Mount Vesuvius, where guests can choose between two scenic routes: the Classic Itinerary allows you to admire the Crater of Mount Vesuvius up close, while the Alternative Itinerary takes you through The Valley of Hell with its fascinating solidified lava flows from the 1944 eruption and unique geological formations, including rocks shaped like ropes.

- The tour is not recommended for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues due to the uneven and steep terrain

Please note the Standard Group has up to 30 participants, Small Group has up to 18 participants, and VIP Small Group has up to 8 participants
- Possible itinerary change: Pompeii–Vesuvius and Valley of hell may be reversed due to weather conditions and extreme heat
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required for the tour to operate
- The live guide inside Pompeii will be replaced by an official interactive audio guide for groups of less than 6 people
- In the event of ongoing maintenance or restoration of certain buildings, the tour guide will substitute them with alternative sites
