On the day of San Antonio, you could be part of one of the oldest traditions in Majorca, the Revetla de Sant Antoni. As bonfires glow and the dimonis – demons that are symbols of the festival – weave through the streets of Santa Maria del Camí, you'll feel the celebrations unfold around you. It's an evening where you'll get that genuine sense of belonging to something that's been a local tradition for ages.

Your guide leads you through the town's historic heart, setting the scene before you join the evening's key moments, including the Sant Antoni procession, the lighting of the main bonfire and the correfoc. Later, traditional music from ximbombes and improvised gloses fill the streets, with dancing around the bonfires open to everyone. And, if you fancy tasting what locals bring to the table, there's the option to try specialities like sobrasada and botifarró – they're kinds of cured sausages – bread with alioli and a glass of island wine. This isn't part of the tour price, but you can pay on the spot.

What makes this celebration special is how naturally everyone comes together, both locals and visitors, all sharing one winter evening.
