Trapani is a city and comune on the west coast of Sicily, Italy. Much of Trapani's economy depends on the sea - fishing and canning are the main local industries. The history of the old city dates back from the early modern periods but there are no extent remains of it, many of its historical buildings are designed in the Baroque style.
