Tuxtla Gutiérrez is the capital and the largest city of the Mexican southeastern state of Chiapas. The city is centered on a large square called the Plaza Cívica. On one of the sides of the square is the city's most important landmark, the Catedral de San Marcos (Saint Mark's Cathedral). Tuxtla Gutiérrez has many parks and green spaces. Also, you can visit the Museo Regional de Antropología e Historia (Regional Museum of Anthropology and History), the largest museum in the city and one of the most important of its kind in Mexico.
