Zarautz is a small town located in Gipuzkoa, one of the main summer destinations of the Spanish Basque country thanks to its beautiful beach. With an approximate length of 2.5 kilometers, the longest on the Basque coast, Zarautz's beach is ideal for surfing and it's known by many competitors worldwide. This town also has the biggest dune biotope of the province, the Iñurritza Protected Biotope, which covers an area of 177.200 square meters, most of them occupied by a golf course.
