Black River Safari Tour From Montego Bay

Visit the Black River Safari which is home to dozens of Jamaica's friendliest Crocodiles. Located on the south side of the Island, the river is the longest navigable river In Jamaica which was once used to transport goods to Europe in the early days.

Tour begins with a pick up from visitors hotel for a 1 1/2 hours scenic drive through the mountains and along the shore line to Black River, in the parish of St. Elizabeth, located south of the island. Visitors will get a 45 minutes-1 hour ride aboard a covered boat with comfortable seats as the captain take you on your hunt to see the crocodiles. When one is spotted, he will call them by their name, they will swim up to the boat and he will pet and feed them while visitors take pictures. The captain will fill you in on the rich history of the town, the river, the crocodiles and everything in your surrounding. Experience this slow moving boat ride along the river banks passing different species of birds, flora and fauna, lots of aerial roots mangrove and get up close with nature.    

Lunch can be arranges with your Driver/Guide in Black River after which you head back to your hotel.
